Privacy Policy

Who is responsible

FindTrend (findtrend.net) is operated by Vladislav Shcherbakov, an independent developer based in Vietnam. Contact: vlad942045@gmail.com.

Use of YouTube API Services

FindTrend uses YouTube API Services to retrieve public information about videos and channels. Information handled through those services is also subject to the Google Privacy Policy.

Information retrieved from YouTube

Only public information is retrieved:

  • Videos: ID, title, description, tags, category, language, publication date, duration, and view, like and comment counts.
  • Channels: ID, title, custom URL, country, creation date, and subscriber, video and view counts.

FindTrend does not use YouTube or Google sign-in, does not request access to anyone's account, and does not retrieve private data or the text of comments.

Information about visitors

  • FindTrend has no user accounts. The dashboard is protected by a password shared with invited testers.
  • FindTrend does not use cookies, advertising or analytics services, and does not read or store information on your device.
  • FindTrend's web server does not keep logs of visitors' IP addresses. The hosting provider may process connection data to operate and protect its network.
  • If you write to us by email, your address and message are used only to reply to you.

How information is used

Information retrieved from YouTube is used to group videos into topics, to calculate FindTrend's own estimates, and to check how accurate those estimates were. It is not used for advertising or to build profiles of individuals.

Sharing

FindTrend does not sell information. Data is stored on a server rented from netcup GmbH in the European Union. Other than the hosting provider, information is shared only with invited testers through the dashboard, or where the law requires it.

How long information is kept

An automated job deletes information retrieved from YouTube once it is older than 29 days, unless it has been refreshed from YouTube within that period. Statistics snapshots, scores and logged estimates older than 29 days are deleted as well.

Removing information about your channel

If you own a YouTube channel and want the stored information about it deleted, email vlad942045@gmail.com. The request will be handled within 7 days.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with a new date.
